All Performers must bring a copy of the music being performed for the adjudicator. Photocopies will not be returned to performers. If playing from music, performers must play from the original score; performers playing from photocopies will not be permitted (See Rule 15 and Photocopying Regulations).
EARLY PERFORMERS (up to Age 7)
P1 My First Festival Class This class is non-competitive Own Choice
A gentle introduction to a young performer’s first festival. Max 1 min £3.50
YOUNG PERFORMERS (up to Age 18)
Graded Classes
Any piece from a current grade syllabus (any UK exam board).
P2 Grades 1 – 2 £5.75
P3 Grades 3 – 4 £6.00
P4 Grades 5 – 6 £6.25
P5 Grades 7 – 8 £6.50
P6 Diploma £7.00
Jazz Classes
Own choice in a Jazz style. Grades are for ability guidance only.
P7 Up to Grade 1 £5.75
P8 Up to Grade 3 £6.00
P9 Up to Grade 5 £6.25

Own Choice Classes
Grade indicated is a rough estimate of difficulty of the piece. The adjudicator may use their discretion and not adjudicate a piece they consider entered in the wrong class.
P11 Up to Grade 1 (non-competitive) Max 2 mins £5.00

Recital Classes
A programme of two or more pieces. Time includes breaks between pieces.

Further Performance Classes
P18 Masterclass 18 Years & Under £12.00
Own choice; you may use a piece which has been performed in another class. Entrants must be prepared to play some sections again, and take part in discussion and tuition. Each entrant will receive 15 minutes, excluding performance time.
Duet Classes
P19 Up to Grade 2 Max 3 mins £5.50
P20 Up to Grade 4 Max 4 mins £5.75
P21 Up to Grade 6 Max 5 mins £6.00
P22 Grade 7 and above Max 6 mins £6.50
P23 Teacher and Pupil Duet Max 4 mins £5.75
Only the pupil will be adjudicated; teachers may enter this class multiple times with different pupils. Parents may count as teachers!
Adult classes

P24 Piano solo Age 18 – 25 Max 5 mins £7.00
P25 Piano solo Age 25 and over Max 6 mins £7.50
